1. Agreement to these Terms

By creating an account, subscribing, or using plus.directory, the Directory Plus browser editor, the Directory Plus Figma plugin, or any related service (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Definitions

• "Service" — the Directory Plus editor, Figma plugin, website, API, and related software.
• "Assets" — the mockup templates, scenes, video scenes, tracking data, thumbnails, and other creative content we make available.
• "Your Content" — the artwork, logos, images, and designs you upload to or place within the Service.
• "Output" — a rendered image or video produced by combining Your Content with an Asset.

3. Accounts & eligibility

You must provide a valid email address and are responsible for all activity under your account. Accounts are for a single user; sharing your credentials or access with others is not permitted. You must be old enough to enter into a binding contract in your country of residence.

4. Subscriptions, billing & cancellation

• Available plans (currently a monthly plan and a 6-month plan) and their prices are shown at checkout and on plus.directory/subscribe. Payments are processed by Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each term until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid term, and you retain access until then.
• Applicable taxes (including VAT) are added as required by law.
• Right of withdrawal (consumers). Where you are a consumer, you have a statutory right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days. By starting to use the Service during that period, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once we have begun providing the Service. Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable law and our Refund Policy.

5. Licence to use the Assets and Output

Subject to your active plan and continued payment, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to:

• use the Assets within the Service to create Output; and
• use the resulting Output in your own and your clients' commercial and personal projects (for example presentations, marketing materials, and product pages).

This is a licence to use the Assets, not to own them. You may not sell, sublicense, or redistribute the Assets themselves, or the raw mockup files, and you may not offer Output for resale as a standalone template, asset, or mockup-generation product.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to, and not to permit or enable any third party to:

• download, scrape, mirror, harvest, or bulk-export the Assets or the catalogue, or access them other than through the interfaces we authorise;
• redistribute, resell, sublicense, share, or publicly post the Assets or the raw mockup files;
• reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or de-obfuscate any part of the Service, or attempt to derive its source code, algorithms, or data formats, except where this restriction cannot be excluded under applicable law;
• circumvent, disable, or interfere with any access control, licence check, watermark, rate limit, or security feature of the Service;
• use the Service, or any know-how obtained from it, to build or operate a competing product or service;
• access the Service by automated means (bots or scripts) other than through APIs we expressly provide; or
• upload Content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the rights to use.

7. Intellectual property

• The Service and the Assets are our exclusive property and are protected by copyright, trade-secret, and other laws. No rights are granted to you except the limited licence set out in Section 5.
• You retain all rights in Your Content. You grant us a limited licence to process and display Your Content solely to operate the Service for you (for example, to render your Output). We do not claim ownership of Your Content or of your Output.
• Rendering takes place primarily in your browser; we do not retain Your Content beyond what is necessary to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Your responsibility for Your Content. You are solely responsible for Your Content and for what you create with the Service. You represent and warrant that you own, or hold all necessary rights and permissions to, any artwork, logos, trademarks, brand elements, photographs, fonts, or other material you place into a mockup, and that your Output and its use do not infringe the intellectual-property, trademark, trade-dress, personality, or other rights of any third party. We do not review or monitor Your Content and are not responsible for it.
• Indemnity. You will indemnify and hold us harmless from any third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising out of Your Content, your Output, or your breach of these Terms — except to the extent a claim arises from the unmodified Assets as provided by us.

8. Privacy & data protection

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains the personal data we process (such as your email for login, your Stripe billing data, and your Shopify purchase status) and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Shopify (accounts and purchases), Stripe (payments), Bunny (asset delivery), and Resend (transactional email). Your use of the Service may also be subject to their terms.

10. Availability & changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Disclaimers

The Service and the Assets are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. This does not affect any statutory rights that cannot be excluded.

Beta features

Some features are labelled beta, currently including video mockups and video rendering. Beta features are provided for evaluation, may change or be withdrawn at any time, and may not work reliably in every environment. Beta features are excluded from any availability expectations set out elsewhere in these Terms.

Rendering and your environment

Rendering happens locally in your browser. Rendering speed, stability and output quality therefore depend on your hardware and software environment, including your device, graphics capability, memory, operating system, browser and available media codecs. We cannot guarantee that every mockup, and in particular video mockups, will render on every setup.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it cannot be excluded or limited under applicable mandatory law, including liability for intent or gross negligence, for injury to life, body, or health, or under applicable product-liability law.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, including any of the prohibited conduct in Section 6. You may stop using the Service at any time; paid terms are handled as set out in Section 4.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Where you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence, and any mandatory consumer-jurisdiction rules continue to apply.
